Job summary

Sanofi in Waterford seeks an Automation Engineer to support and advance automated manufacturing systems across PFS, LYO, Filling and Packaging. You will troubleshoot Siemens S7/TIA Portal, Wonderware, iFix, and Zenon platforms, maintain PI Historian/Ignition, and support Windows Server OT environments.

You will lead automation capital projects, drive continuous improvement, ensure CSV/GxP compliance, and contribute to the Digital Lighthouse strategy with data connectivity and smart manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day automation support for manufacturing equipment across PFS, LYO, Filling and Packaging.
• Lead and contribute to automation capital projects from concept to commissioning and handover.
• Author and execute validation documentation (URS, FS, DS, IQ, OQ, PQ) per GxP requirements.
• Develop dashboards and analytics using PI or Ignition to support operational decisions.
