Job summary

Fidelity is seeking a Trade Operations Analyst in Galway to join its Global Middle Office team. You will manage day-to-day trade confirmation and settlement processes across Equity, Fixed Income, and FX desks, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

You will monitor confirmations, fails, escrow activity and settlement, handling market-specific processes and escalation of risks. Collaboration with desks, brokers and custodians is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' financial services experience, ideally with exposure to Custody Operations and/or Trade/Fixed Income Life Cycle management.
• 2+ years’ experience in Trade Life Cycle, Settlements or Fails Management.
• Detailed knowledge of market settlement practices and operational knowledge of FX settlement.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day trade confirmation and settlement processes for Equity, Fixed Income and FX desks.
• Monitoring confirmation, fails resolution, escrow activity and settlement.
• Performing market-specific processes to confirm and settle in challenging foreign markets.
• Identify, analyse and resolve complex issues and potential operational risks; escalate high-risk items.
