Job summary

CPL Group is partnering with a leading global asset management firm in Dublin to recruit a Trade Operations Specialist for the Middle Office. You will be the link between traders, brokers, custodians and fund accountants, ensuring FX trades are matched, settled and reflected in NAVs.

You’ll liaise with desks, meet tight cut-off times and help resolve trade flow issues, while building relationships and contributing to local and global projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Trade Matching and Settlement role
• Solid knowledge of SWIFT and settlement workflows
• Understanding of the full trade lifecycle
• Familiarity with FXALL and Alert is a plus
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in high-pressure environments

Responsibilities

• Liaise with traders and escalate broker issues
• Ensure FX instructions reach custodians and fund accounting within tight cut-off times
• Monitor FX trade settlement and investigate issues directly with brokers and custodians
• Set up new funds and brokers within the trading system
• Partner with Compliance, Risk and Client Services to resolve trade flow queries
• Build strong relationships with custodians, fund accountants and brokers
• Manage interest claims arising from trade flow issues
• Maintain and communicate SSIs across counterparties
• Get involved in local and global projects

We’re delighted to partner with a leading global asset management firm in their search for an Trade Operations Specialist to join their Middle Office function in Dublin.

This is a key role sitting between the trading desks and back office, ensuring every FX transaction is matched, settled and reflected accurately in fund NAVs. You’ll be the go-to link between traders, brokers, custodians and fund accountants — keeping trade flow moving smoothly and resolving issues before they become problems.

What you’ll be doing:
