Job summary

Fidelity Investments seeks a Trade Operations Analyst in Dublin to support trade confirmations, settlements and inquiry responses for Equity, Fixed Income and FX desks. You will collaborate with Traders, Brokers and Custodian Banks to ensure timely execution and issue resolution.

The role requires industry knowledge of settlement practices and experience with FX settlement, plus strong data analysis, Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Three years in financial services, preferably custody/Trade Life Cycle.
• Two years in Trade Life Cycle, Settlements or Fails Management.
• Experience with market settlement practices and FX settlement.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day trade confirmations and settlements for Fidelity desks.
• Respond to inquiries and reporting accurately and timely.
• Communicate with Traders, Brokers, Custodian Banks and other partners.
• Identify operational risks and escalate to minimize loss.

This person will possess a full understanding of Fidelity’s organizational structure, information flow and internal systems, as well as good industry knowledge pertaining to trading and settlement of equity, and foreign currency (non USD) exchanges. It is also responsible for coordinating corporate action executions, ensuring the collection of income to the Funds, resolving position differences and facilitating securities lending activities.Trade Operations provides trade support to Fidelity's domestic and international equity, fixed income, high yield and foreign exchange trading desks located in Hong Kong, London and Boston.. Trade analysts work closely with the traders, broker-dealer community and the custodian bank network to facilitate trade matching and settlement in over 70 countries worldwide.
