Job summary

Nicoll Curtin is seeking a detail‑oriented Trade Operations Analyst in Dublin to support equity, fixed income and FX trading activities. The role focuses on trade confirmations, settlements and fails management across international markets, working with desks, brokers and custodian banks.

You will resolve issues, manage risk and drive improvements while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in a global financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in financial services, ideally custody/trade support/fixed income operations.
• Hands-on trade lifecycle management experience (settlements/fails).
• Strong understanding of market settlement practices and FX settlement processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor trade confirmations, settlements and failed trades; ensure timely resolution.
• Investigate discrepancies and mitigate operational risk with proactive solutions.
• Support trade matching and settlement processes across international markets.
• Coordinate with equity and FX trading desks, brokers, custodian banks and partners.
• Manage operational queries and deliver accurate reporting on time.
• Identify process improvements to raise efficiency and quality.
• Contribute to projects as a SME in trade operations and settlement processes.
• Escalate high‑risk issues to minimise potential losses.
