Job summary

Maples Group seeks a Senior Sanctions Analyst to join our Group Compliance team, based in Dublin (or other group locations) with a flexible base. You will advise on sanctions risk, manage escalations, and support policy updates across a global network.

Key duties include alert review, horizon scanning, case management, and cross-functional collaboration with Compliance, Legal and business units. Visa requirements will apply for respective jurisdictions.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of international sanctions regimes (US, UK, EU, UN) and ability to apply requirements under supervision.
Experience in sanctions, financial crime, compliance operations or risk analysis in professional services or financial sectors.
Experience administering sanctions/watchlist/adverse media screening systems; alert triage and case documentation.

Responsibilities

Provide sanctions analysis and advisory support for onboarding and ongoing client relationships.
Coordinate escalation and case management across time zones with global teams.
Support updates to sanctions policies, guidance, and training materials.
