Job summary

Fidelity Information Services Ireland Limited is seeking a Procurement Category Lead to manage end-to-end procurement for Business Process Outsourcing services on a global/regional scale. The role involves category management, sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance management to deliver cost reductions and compliant deals.

You will lead a team of 3–5 procurement professionals and partner with executives and stakeholders across the FIS portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and management, supplier performance and relationship management, and category management experience.
• Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams that deliver quantifiable results, including cost reductions.
• Understanding of key contracting concepts and legal terms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze key supply markets and establish relationships with leading partners.
• Lead and develop team of procurement professionals in sourcing, negotiation, contract development, and award of contracts across spend categories.
• Partner with business customers and stakeholders to drive optimal third-party labor buying decisions that align to strategies.
• Manage negotiations with third parties to ensure benefit for FIS.
• Interface with stakeholders locally, including business leaders, Finance leads and Legal.
• Identify and mitigate category risks; collaborate with internal risk teams to ensure compliance.
• Plan and execute expense category reviews; stay aware of external marketplace trends.
• Deliver a superior customer experience to internal and external clients worldwide.
