Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Merchandising Category Specialist in Limerick, Dublin or Belfast to assist with procurement, vendor management and supply/service levels. You will support tenders, vendor onboarding and contract terms while working closely with the Sales and Supply Chain teams.

Ideal candidates have a third level degree in Business/Procurement, strong commercial sense and proven Excel proficiency, plus travel flexibility to cover multiple sites across Ireland.

Qualifications

• Third Level Degree in Business / Procurement or related discipline desirable.
• Strong commercial and procurement experience within food industry.
• Proactive problem solving with excellent MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day vendor management and supply negotiations.
• Support tendering, vendor onboarding and contract terms.
• Collaborate with Sales and Supply Chain to meet service levels.
• Maintain vendor records and ensure audit traceability.
