Trulioo is seeking a commercially minded Senior Director, Global Privacy & Data Protection to lead our global privacy strategy, data protection program, and designated Data Protection Officer. Reporting to the Chief Risk and Strategy Officer, this role drives privacy, AI governance, and responsible data use across products, operations, and commercial motions.

The ideal candidate brings extensive GDPR, U.S. state, and Canadian privacy law expertise, with experience in biometrics, AI, and identity

Qualifications

• 15+ years in privacy, data protection, or tech law leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead global privacy strategy across markets, products and operations.
• Serve as Data Protection Officer for Europe, advising on GDPR obligations.
• Advise executive leadership on privacy risk, regulatory changes, and product strategy.
• Represent the company in regulators, enterprise customers and industry groups.
• Embed privacy by design into product development, contracting and onboarding.
• Monitor privacy developments and translate into practical guidance for products and markets.
