Job summary

Trulioo is seeking a commercially minded and execution‑oriented Senior Director, Global Privacy & Data Protection to lead our global privacy strategy, data protection program, and designated Data Protection Officer. This is a senior leadership role reporting to the Chief Risk and Strategy Officer, partnering with Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, technology law, regulatory advisory, or related leadership roles.
• Extensive expertise in GDPR and US/Canadian privacy laws.
• Experience as a senior privacy leader or DPO in a global tech environment.
• Ability to translate regulatory complexity into clear business decisions.
• Experience with PIAs/DPIAs, data mapping, DPAs, SCCs, and cross‑border transfers.

Responsibilities

• Lead global privacy strategy and act as Data Protection Officer for Europe.
• Mature privacy program operations: PIAs, DPIAs, records of processing, data subject rights.
• Advise product, engineering, sales, and marketing on privacy by design and risks.
• Build governance, metrics, and executive insights for privacy risk and readiness.
• Lead privacy incident readiness, breach analysis, and regulatory notification.
• Represent Trulioo in privacy engagements with regulators and customers.
