Logitech is the Sweet Spot for people who want their actions to have a positive global impact while having the flexibility to do it in their own way.

Position Summary
  • Department: Controllership Finance – Global Payroll Team
  • Location: Cork, Ireland
  • Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent
  • Region Coverage: EMEA & Global Payroll Transformation (EMEA)
About the Role

As an integral member of Logitech Finance, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic Global Payroll team processing payrolls across the EMEA region. You will play a dual role: ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery for selected countries, while acting as a key representative on the Global Payroll Transformation team to re-engineer, automate, and modernize our global payroll operations.

Your Contribution

Be Yourself. Be Open. Stay Hungry and Humble. Collaborate. Challenge. Decide and Do.

In this role you will
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of Logitech’s end-to-end payroll for selected EMEA countries.
  • Collaborate with payroll partners to collect and validate all payroll inputs, including salaries, bonuses, benefits, allowances, and deductions. Conduct rigorous pre- and post-payroll reconciliations to eliminate anomalies or duplicate records before finalization.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of payroll fiscal close procedures, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. Work with the broader Finance team to identify and resolve payroll accounting exceptions.
  • Understand the full payroll cycle through to GL bookings and present meaningful flux analysis to stakeholders.
  • Stay current on and ensure strict compliance with local payroll regulations, tax laws, social security, and benefits requirements across various EMEA jurisdictions.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll internal controls, maintaining robust documentation and proactively identifying and remediating any control gaps or weaknesses. Assist in facilitating internal and external audit engagements.
  • Partner with key stakeholders including People Services, HRIS, Compensation & Benefits, Stock Admin, and Finance to troubleshoot issues and work collaboratively to develop optimum processes and service delivery.
  • Drive the Global Finance Transformation roadmap across EMEA, focusing on eliminating manual workflows, standardizing regional processes, and implementing scalable, automated payroll solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to evaluate, test, and deploy emerging technologies to enhance service delivery.
Your Skills & Experience

Since this role sits directly at the intersection of payroll delivery and global process optimization, it requires an elevated transformation skillset. We are looking for an experienced EMEA payroll professional who pairs deep technical payroll knowledge with a strong technology-first mindset— someone actively passionate about leveraging AI, automation, and data to transform enterprise payroll. For consideration, you must bring the following skills, experience and behaviours to our team:

  • Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in a senior analyst payroll role across the EMEA region.
  • Transformation & Technology Focus: Advanced capability and genuine interest in applying emerging technologies—such as AI, Machine Learning (ML), and Robotic Process Automation (RPA)—to eliminate manual touchpoints, re-engineer workflows, and unlock strategic workforce insights.
  • Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field—or an equivalent payroll certification.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Solid understanding of EMEA payroll taxes, statutory deductions, social security, and labour regulations across multiple European jurisdictions.
  • Spreadsheet Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets (must be comfortable using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and managing large data sets).
  • Familiarity with how HRIS data flows into downstream payroll and Finance/GL systems.
  • Strong ability to perform pre- and post-payroll reconciliations, investigate gross-to-net variances, and flag data errors before finalization.
  • Experience supporting month-end close procedures, including preparing journal entries and assisting Finance/FP&A teams with cost analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to partner effectively across HR, Finance, and external vendors.
  • Ability to stay organized and solve problems independently in a fast-paced, global team environment.
  • Customer service focus with the ability and sound judgment to handle highly sensitive information.
  • Process improvement mindset: have a passion for reengineering payroll processes in implementing a first-class payroll service.
