Job summary

PartnerRe is seeking a Global Payroll Manager to lead its international payroll operations across 10+ countries, driving end-to-end payroll delivery, benefits changes, and vendor coordination. The role centers on transforming payroll into a strategic partner aligned with our global objectives.

You will manage a distributed team, ensure compliance, optimize processes, and collaborate with IT, Finance, HR, and legal to deliver accurate, timely payroll and benefits across regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive payroll experience, including multi-country operations and compliance management.
• Minimum 5 years of payroll leadership experience in a corporate setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical expertise with payroll systems, HRIS, data interfaces, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global payroll team supporting 10+ countries, ensuring accurate and timely payroll for 1,300+ employees.
• Manage and develop a high-performing team through coaching and knowledge transfer.
• Drive payroll simplification, automation, and AI-enabled improvements with IT, Finance, HR, and vendors.
• Develop and maintain standardized payroll procedures and country-specific compliance frameworks.
• Oversee payroll operations including reconciliations, payments, deductions, and year-end activities.
• Administer employee benefit programs across regions, including health, retirement, and leaves.
• Manage payroll audits, vendor relationships, renewals, and data accuracy.
• Participate in strategic initiatives to align payroll with global strategy.
