Job summary

The Panel is seeking a Group Payroll Manager to own the payroll operation across multiple jurisdictions. This hands-on leadership role centers on building and improving processes, not just maintaining them.

You will run a fast-paced weekly payroll cycle and guide a team delivering across international markets. Ideal candidates will bring 7+ years of payroll experience, strong technical knowledge of payroll processes and taxes, and a track record of implementing efficient solutions in high-growth

• 7+ years of payroll experience.
• Strong payroll management knowledge with solid technical understanding of processes and taxes.
• Background in high-growth, scaling service companies with high transaction volumes.
• Track record of delivering technically efficient payroll solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and control the weekly payroll process across multiple jurisdictions.
• Use technology and AI to improve efficiency and support expansion.
• Report payroll metrics to senior management weekly and at period end.
• Take ownership of exceptions and queries, resolving issues and feeding learnings back into stronger controls.
• Work with teams across the business to improve the overall worker experience and NPS.
• Lead and manage the payroll team, including remote reports.

Our Client is a high-growth, scaling service business with high transaction volumes and is looking for a Group Payroll Manager to take ownership of its payroll operation across multiple jurisdictions. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to build and improve, not just maintain.

You'll own a fast-paced weekly payroll cycle and lead a team delivering across international markets. Just as important, you'll drive continuous improvement using technology and AI, so the process scales cleanly as the company grows domestically and internationally.
