Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking an Operational Resilience Specialist to lead Pillars Integration in a global, First Line of Defense capacity. You will work with stakeholders across People, Premises, Technology, Third Party, and Data pillars, driving resilience requirements and ensuring alignment with enterprise resilience objectives.

You will coordinate with pillar owners, change management, and regional teams to embed resilience into processes, monitor dependencies, and provide guidance to colleagues

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of operational resilience and business continuity principles.
• Experience in risk management within financial services is preferred.
• Ability to analyse resilience data and identify gaps for remediation.
• Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Define and embed minimum resilience requirements across pillars (People, Premises, Technology, Third Party, Data).
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure consistent pillar integration.
• Identify and oversee resilience dependencies supporting IBSs and IISs.
• Establish processes to obtain and monitor data for conformance at component level.
• Coordinate with Change Management to integrate resilience into change processes.
• Contribute to enterprise tooling data integration and management information.
