Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Product Line Project Manager to drive the NPDI process end-to-end for designated product lines. You will report into the central program management group while embedded with product line engineering teams, guiding cross-functional teams through the seven-gate journey from concept to market introduction and closure.

You will own schedules, cost tracking, risk management, and governance, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure on-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5–8 years of project management experience in product development, engineering, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing stage- gate or phase- gate product development processes end-to-end.
• Proficiency with Smartsheet, MS Project, or equivalent project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPDI projects through all seven phases and gates.
• Manage cross-functional project teams across Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and more.
• Own the project schedule, gate deliverables, and advancement checklists.
• Execute Product Cost Process and track costs at each gate milestone.
• Coordinate with Procurement NPDI Leads on strategic sourcing and BOM health.
• Provide project status to senior leadership and drive process improvements.
