Job summary

ABP Ireland is seeking an NPD Technologist to drive product development from concept to launch. You will coordinate samples, trials and first production runs while ensuring food safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

You will work with customers and cross-functional teams to translate insights into new ranges and improvements. The role emphasizes creativity, industry knowledge, and strong communication, with opportunities to influence packaging, ingredients and processes in a busy

Qualifications

• BSc in Food-related field.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of food/meat processing technology.
• Creativity in mind and approach to opportunities.
• Ability to work on own initiative and be self-organised.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination of samples, pre-production trials and first production runs.
• Influence product setup and production decisions for food safety and quality.
• Implement and maintain detailed specifications for all finished products.
• Knowledge of software programmes used by customers.
• Liaise with customers and cross-functional teams to meet needs.
• Ensure NPD procedures and documentation comply with customer requirements.
