Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks an Investment Analyst based in Ireland to join an international fund focused on digital businesses. The role covers investment research, financial analysis, and deal sourcing, with exposure to venture-building and private equity projects.

You will identify opportunities, build financial models, and analyze performance across portfolios in a fast-paced tech environment, supporting cross-functional teams and portfolio development.

Qualifications

• Practical understanding of financial modeling and the ability to work with financial statements and build basic financial models.
• Knowledge of fundamental financial analysis, including revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow.
• Experience working with data and performing analytical tasks.
• Basic understanding of unit economics and the key metrics used to evaluate business performance.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret financial information.
• Curiosity about digital businesses, investment opportunities, entrepreneurship, and business growth.
• Ability to research companies and markets and identify relevant investment prospects.
• Proactive, structured, and adaptable approach to working on multiple projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to support cross-functional investment and portfolio activities.

Responsabilités

• Identify and source potential investment opportunities, including relevant founders, companies, and prospective deals.
• Conduct fundamental financial analysis to assess business performance and investment potential.
• Build and maintain basic financial models, including cash flow projections and analyses of revenue, expenses, and net profit.
• Analyze the relationships between the three core financial statements: income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
• Monitor relevant companies, industries, and market developments to identify potential investment opportunities.
• Work with data analytics on investment-related projects, translating findings into useful business insights.
• Support portfolio management processes and contribute to monitoring the performance of existing investments.
• Assist with deal-related activities, research, analysis, and preparation, supporting the investment team throughout the process.
• Contribute to both venture-building initiatives and private equity projects aimed at launching or scaling digital businesses.
