Job summary

Diageo is seeking a Global Procurement Specialist – Ingredients to develop and deliver the global ingredients category strategy. You will lead end-to-end sourcing activities, build strong supplier relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise costs and drive continuous improvement.

Based across England, Scotland and Ireland, you will harness AI and analytics to support data-driven decisions, manage governance, and contribute to Procurement 2028 priorities.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline.
• Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Strong commercial, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Digital procurement tools, AI or advanced analytics desirable.
• Flexibility to manage wellbeing and priorities from day one.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of Diageo’s global Ingredients category strategy, driving sourcing excellence and value.
• Lead competitive sourcing activities (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs) and supplier onboarding.
• Analyse spend, supplier performance and market intelligence to identify productivity and cost opportunities.
• Build collaborative relationships with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders to support governance and Joint Business Planning.
• Leverage digital tools, AI and analytics to improve procurement performance and decision making.
