Job summary

Diageo is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician at Nangor Road, Dublin. You will provide technical, analytical and microbiological support to ensure the highest product quality on site. The role involves shift work and testing across brewing and utilities within a fast-paced production environment.

Candidates should have a science degree, lab experience and familiarity with GMP/GLP. Experience with LIMS (Harford) is desirable and a passion for continuous improvement is encouraged.

About the Function

Supply Chain & Manufacturing is where our brands are made, moved and delivered to the world. With over half of our people working across more than 100 sites, this is a complex, large-scale operation that brings together production, logistics, engineering and supplier partnerships. It’s fast-paced and hands-on, with teams working together to ensure quality, efficiency and sustainability at every stage. About the Role

To provide technical, analytical, and microbiological support within the core production team structure to ensure the highest standards of product quality on site. Shift pattern work, Working between analytical, chemical and microbiological testing across brewing and Utilities.

Qualifications
  • Relevant science degree or equivalent.
  • Experience working in laboratory setting.
  • Preferred experience Bachelor/Masters of Science (analytical or microbiology preferred).
  • 2 years experience working in laboratory environment (regulatory sector preferred).
  • Core competency in one or more of the following: chromatography (GC/HPLC), chemical Analysis, microbiological analysis and brewing quality control.
  • Experience in production/manufacturing environment, preferably food, beverage or pharmaceuticals.
  • Clear understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices.
  • Experience using LIMS system, e.g. Harford.
About You
  • Customer Service & OTIF Process Expertise: Strong understanding of Customer Service, Order Management, OTIF, order fulfillment, and supply chain execution processes, with the ability to support deployment of standardized operational practices.
  • Digital Solution Deployment & Business Adoption: Experience supporting implementation and adoption of digital supply chain solutions through business readiness, testing, user engagement, training, and hypercare activities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Influencing: Builds effective relationships across business, Digital & Technology, and regional teams, collaborating to resolve issues, drive alignment, and support successful deployment across multiple markets.
  • Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving: Applies analytical skills to validate business requirements, investigate system and process issues, interpret operational performance, and identify practical improvement opportunities.
  • Learning Agility & Execution Excellence: Quickly develops expertise in digital OTIF capabilities, adapts to evolving priorities, manages multiple deployment activities, and delivers high-quality outcomes with discipline and pace.
  • Experience in Customer Service, Order Management, OTIF, Logistics, Supply Chain Operations, or Supply Chain Planning, preferably within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
  • Experience supporting implementation or deployment of digital supply chain solutions (SAP, Salesforce, OMP, Power BI, or similar platforms).
  • Strong understanding of OTIF, Order-to-Cash, Customer Service operations, service level management, and supply chain execution.
  • Experience supporting business process design, solution validation, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and hypercare activities.
  • Experience delivering business readiness, user training, or change management initiatives that support digital transformation.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (PDCA, Lean, root cause analysis, problem solving) is desirable.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, global organizations with multiple stakeholders and regional deployments.
