Job summary

Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited in Dublin or London seeks a Business Developer to lead data center capacity procurement, vendor management, and long-term infrastructure scaling strategies. You will own vendor relationships and develop commercial agreements to support AWS growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance operations, finance, accounting, asset management, accounts payable, or lease management.
• Experience working cross-functionally across several teams.
• Experience in contracts management or data center infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage infrastructure transactions: validate inputs, engage with vendors, build business cases, and drive contract execution with Legal partners.
• Support development of Master Service Agreements, Work Orders, and contract amendments.
• Prepare business cases for leadership approvals and forecast project costs in collaboration with internal teams.
• Lead stakeholder requirements gathering on design scope, security, and operational standards and obtain approvals.
• Oversee procurement activities: vendor onboarding, supplier engagement, PO creation, and lifecycle management.
• Manage infrastructure operating expenses: budget planning, invoicing, and cash disbursements.
• Act as subject matter expert on commercial and contractual matters related to the contract portfolio.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis on supply plans and stakeholder management.
• Ensure data integrity in supply planning and related systems.
• Develop and oversee continual process-improvement initiatives for efficiency and value.
