Job summary

Ergomed is seeking a senior ICSR Manager to lead the ICSR Management Unit within our pharmacovigilance practice. The role focuses on directing staff, optimizing resource use, and ensuring timely, high-quality processing of safety data across post-marketing and clinical contexts.

Extensive PV experience and senior leadership capability are required to drive productivity, manage budgets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support contracts and proposals.

Qualifications

• Life science degree or related qualification.
• Extensive pharmacovigilance case processing experience.
• Demonstrated leadership at a senior level.

Responsibilities

• Manage the ICSR Management Unit to deliver unit-relevant activities on time and to quality standards.
• Ensure adequate resources and allocate workload to maximise productivity.
• Set productivity targets and review progress with project teams.
• Reallocate resources between units/departments based on reports and analyses.
• Oversee Associate Directors and staff to ensure optimal utilisation and performance.
• Support HR in recruitment, performance management, and retention activities.
• Review budgets and contracts during project development and for new scope.
