Job summary

Flex is seeking a Head of Global Hyperscale Engineering to lead the global strategy, industrialization and execution of LV switchgear and e-house systems for hyperscale data centers.

Based in Ireland, you will drive cross-functional teams, manage capacity and quality, align with customers, and partner with Product, R&D, and Supply Chain to deliver scalable, compliant solutions while shaping the future of SpinCo’s engineering footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 8+ years in switchgear or mission-critical electrical equipment manufacturing.
• Experience with e-house/prefabricated power room production.
• Proven track record leading engineering teams.
• Experience with Engineering Quality systems, regulatory compliance and industry standards.
• Excellent communication skills across regions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage adaptable Engineering teams that provide dedicated specialist knowledge for Hyperscale Customers on a global basis.
• Customer facing with Commercial acumen and cross-functional collaboration.
• Monitor compliance with company policies and customer experience, driving improvements to the user experience.
• Coordinate with Hyperscale Customer Engineering to align Product Lines with Customer Data Centre development.
• Serve as point of contact for customer technical queries with fast response times.
• Collaborate with Sales, Projects, and Account Management to meet customer needs.
• Liaise with Product Line managers and R&D to develop customer requirements.
• Develop KPI’s to measure team effectiveness and capacity planning.
• Direct Global Engineering teams with site manufacturing and design teams to meet customer requirements.
• Provide guidance on Framework agreements with Customers and resource planning.
