Job summary

Oyster is seeking a senior HR professional to manage complex employee relations across Western Europe, primarily Portugal, Italy and Spain. The role focuses on country-specific HR guidance, AI-driven documentation, and cross-team collaboration to scale HR support globally.

You will work remotely from anywhere and support internal teams and customers with high- stakes HR situations, driving continuous improvement and high performance within the People Services team.

Qualifications

• Deep ER expertise across multiple countries including high-risk cases
• 6+ years ER & HR generalist experience
• Fluent in Portuguese, Italian, and/or Spanish would be beneficial
• Cross-country HR experience with global focus
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Commercially minded with problem-solving mindset
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate HR drafting and analysis

Responsibilities

• Handle complex ER matters across allocated EU countries
• Provide guidance on high-risk cases including investigations and terminations
• Navigate local legal frameworks while aligning with business objectives
• Draft country-specific HR information and leverage AI for rapid knowledge delivery
• Train internal teams on HR topics and proactively improve information
• Attend customer calls when country-specific HR questions arise
• Collaborate with Customer Support, Sales, Product, Legal to solve HR issues
• Lead HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
