Job summary

Quest Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Vice President to lead hedge fund accounting service delivery for a portfolio of clients, overseeing local and offshore teams and ensuring performance against KPIs and SLAs.

You will drive process improvements, manage client relationships and contribute to the evolution of the offshore operating model, focusing on control, efficiency and scalability while developing your team and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least three to four years’ Hedge Fund Accounting experience.
• A minimum of two years’ experience at supervisory or people-management level.
• Strong knowledge of complex hedge fund structures and OTC derivatives.
• Experience overseeing offshore teams or outsourced service delivery, although this is not essential.
• A track record of managing performance, deadlines, KPIs or SLAs.
• Strong client-facing, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• An interest in process improvement, automation and operational projects.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and developing team members, with a strong focus on performance, engagement and career development.
• Overseeing fund accounting services delivered by offshore Centres of Excellence.
• Ensuring client KPIs, SLAs and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved.
• Building strong relationships with clients and managing service issues, development requests and operational priorities.
• Reviewing performance data, control statistics and service metrics to identify risks or areas for improvement.
• Leading process optimisation, automation and efficiency initiatives.
• Supporting operational projects, system enhancements and changes to the service-delivery model.
• Ensuring new clients, products and internal initiatives are implemented in a controlled and scalable manner.
• Working closely with Investor Services, Custody, Depositary, Product, Technology and other operational teams.
• Supporting succession planning, training and performance reviews across the team.
