Job summary

Glanua is seeking a Head of Mechanical Design to lead the global mechanical design strategy and act as the technical authority across multiple engineering teams. The role focuses on innovative, sustainable solutions, governance, and value delivery for clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Chartered Engineer desirable.
• Experience in design governance and HAZOP/HAZID is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across tender, concept, detailed design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Oversee mechanical design and piping disciplines across multiple teams.
• Champion BIM, digital engineering and off-site construction.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance throughout the design lifecycle.
• Develop people, succession planning and resource optimisation.
