Job summary

Valaston, a specialist audit and assurance firm, is seeking an Audit Manager to lead delivery of high-quality engagements for investment funds and SPVs. You will report to Audit Partner, oversee planning through completion, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with international colleagues.

You'll work with global clients across funds, SPVs and financial institutions, ensuring budget adherence and strong client service.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified with demonstrable experience in financial services audits.
• Experience managing statutory audits from planning to completion.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Leading audit engagements, including planning, controls analysis and documentation.
• Project managing audit engagements to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Collaborating with international colleagues to maintain consistent service delivery.
• Supervising, training and mentoring junior staff and supporting their development.
• Occasional international travel due to Valaston's global client base.
