Job summary

Amazon Ireland Support Services Limited seeks a Finance Manager in Global Finance Transformation to lead automation of financial statements and improve reporting, compliance, and data quality across US and local GAAP.

You will collaborate with global accounting and tax teams, define requirements, test automated outputs, and drive standardization while balancing business needs with technical constraints in a fast-paced project-based environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, finance
• Excellent written and verbal English communication with stakeholders at all levels
• Advanced Excel skills are required to build and validate financial models
• Significant accounting experience, preferably in a Big Four firm or multinational
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage project milestones

Responsibilities

• Liaise between accounting, tax, and Fintech teams to enable collaboration
• Develop country-specific Business Requirement documents detailing scope and questions from automation partners
• Test automated output reports against underlying records and build exception reports
• Collaborate with functional and system teams to assess automation impacts and communicate findings
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement of processes and controls for US and local GAAP and tax compliance
• Anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, and balance business needs with tech constraints
• Create and share detailed project information with stakeholders for transparency
