Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking a Digital Automation Specialist – Finance to lead automation initiatives within Finance Shared Services (CFS) across EMEA, blending hands-on solution delivery with capability building and governance. You will partner with Finance stakeholders to embed scalable automation and reporting solutions that drive efficiency and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, IT, or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years’ experience designing and implementing automation or digital solutions.
Finance experience required, demonstrated through either: 5+ years in Finance with at least 2 years in Finance projects or programmes, or PMO/Transformation experience with 3+ years supporting Finance initiatives.
Strong English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

Shape and maintain the EMEA Digital Innovation & Automation COE operating model.
Create and maintain reusable templates, frameworks, and documentation for automation delivery.
Identify and develop digital skills across EMEA Finance; contribute to capability assessments.
Design learning pathways and deliver training, onboarding, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Evaluate Finance processes end-to-end to identify automation opportunities and quantify business value.
Design, build, test, and deploy automation and reporting solutions with governance and quality standards.
Collaborate with Finance SMEs, BOE leads, and transformation teams to identify high-impact opportunities.
Document proofs of concept, use cases, and benefits; ensure knowledge is captured in COE repository.
Participate in Global Digital and Automation Communities of Practice; share insights and assets.
Maintain dashboards and reports on pipeline health, delivered automations, and efficiency gains.
