Job summary

Rippling in the Netherlands seeks an experienced HR Advisor to support our Employer of Record service, guiding clients through onboarding, lifecycle management, and compliance across regions.

You will work with product, engineering, and compliance teams to refine HR workflows, draft policies, and train colleagues, while serving as POA for local entities and ensuring regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Netherlands HR advisory or consulting experience.
• Experience handling unemployment benefits, disability/leave benefits, workers’ compensation, and grievances.
• HRIS super-user experience.
• Ability to explain pay statements and payroll basics including tax withholdings.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a client-focused approach.
• Professional working proficiency in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Draft and implement compliance-driven policies and SOPs for leave management, performance management, investigations, claims, terminations, unemployment benefits, workers’ compensation, and grievance investigations.
• Handle complex employee relations issues and regulatory risk mitigation.
• Configure and test workflows for hiring, onboarding, transitions, terminations, and statutory benefits.
• Respond to client and employee inquiries and develop HR resources and policies.
• Train internal HR Advisors on country-specific requirements to ensure continuity and compliance.
• Design scalable processes to enhance HR service delivery and governance.
