Job summary

Zoom's Global Employment Law team seeks a fully qualified European lawyer to guide strategic employment matters across EMEA, with growing exposure to APAC. You will partner with HR and business leaders to balance compliance and business needs in a fast-paced environment.

You will advise on employee relations, terminations, and disputes; help develop compliant policies; and lead cross-border projects including reorganizations and M&A engagements. Hybrid/remote options available.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified lawyer in a European jurisdiction with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Demonstrate expertise in international employment law in EMEA.
• Willingness to learn and grow into supporting APAC jurisdictions.
• Translate complex legal concepts into clear, practical, and commercially aligned advice.
• Navigate sensitive employee relations matters with sound judgment and discretion.
• Manage competing priorities and workstreams in a dynamic environment.
• Collaborate effectively across legal, compliance, and HR functions to drive alignment.
• Bring prior in-house experience or secondment with a global business.
• Possess prior experience advising technology companies on employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Advising on employment law matters across multiple EMEA jurisdictions, including employee relations, terminations, and disputes.
• Partnering with HR and business leaders to develop compliant policies, processes, and training programs.
• Managing employment litigation strategy and coordinating with external counsel on complex matters.
• Supporting cross-border projects including reorganizations, M&A transactions, and Works Council engagements.
• Building trusted relationships with stakeholders across Legal, People Experience, and business teams.
• Stay up to date, and advise as needed, on legal developments across EMEA and APAC.
