Job summary

Amicus Search & Recruitment represents a leading international retail brand establishing a Tax Centre of Excellence to navigate digital and international tax changes. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will guide automation, governance, and advisory efforts, working across finance, legal, and tech teams to optimize the business for the digital era.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in corporate tax, Pillar Two and transfer pricing expertise, plus strong communication for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified AITI / CTA or equivalent international qualification.
• 7+ years of dedicated Corporate Tax experience.
• Hands-on experience with Transfer Pricing regulations and methodologies.
• Exceptional written, oral, and presentation skills, with ability to translate complex tax concepts for non-tax audiences.
• A strong team player committed to collective success and driving team goals.
• Experience with digital legislation or tax automation/technology projects.
• Exposure to Pillar Two reporting frameworks.
• International corporate tax experience in a large corporate or multinational setting.
• Experience designing tax governance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate tax returns and related statutory filings.
• Support tax governance requirements and maintain documentation.
• Author tax requirement documents for business projects or legislative changes.
• Partner with Indirect Tax to ensure robust reconciliation and audit readiness for digital legislation.
• Collaborate with data and IT teams to develop automated reporting for Direct Tax and Transfer Pricing.
• Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of people, processes, and technology in meeting tax obligations.
• Provide regular legislative and case law updates to senior management.
