Job summary

Amazon Network Fabric Engineering (NFE) in Dublin seeks a Network Development Manager to lead a team building, deploying and scaling network infrastructure across global data centers. You will guide strategy, capacity planning, and project delivery to ensure high availability and low latency for AWS customers.

You will manage hiring, mentoring, and performance for engineers while coordinating with AWS Networking to optimize cost and efficiency in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
• 3+ years in computer science, computer engineering, or related fields, or experience working directly with engineering teams
• Experience managing people and leading a team
• Experience with recruiting and hiring processes

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence and standardize processes across the network
• Measure network performance, capacity, and incident trends
• Lead and develop a high-performing Network Development team
• Own incident and change management improvements across networking space
• Drive recruitment and onboarding for new hires and future growth
• Define and deliver strategic goals for the team and report progress to leadership
