Qualifications

• Master's degree, or a Bachelor's degree and experience working in a large-scale networking environment.
• Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Perl).
• Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals such as BGP, OSPF and other R&S technologies.
• Experience developing engineering, deployment, or operations mechanisms to support IP networking systems.
• This role requires you to be a national of an EU member state.

Responsibilities

• Leading network projects in the areas of network sustaining engineering, deployment/implementation, scaling, technology refresh, best practices, and/or network optimization.
• Influencing operations, responding to customer impact events and requests, troubleshooting, and improving automation that runs our network.
• Analysing the network using tools and metrics to ensure it operates correctly, safely and securely.
• Investigating technical issues scientifically and thoroughly, and assist in fixing complex problems so they don't come back.
• Planning, delivering and simplifying new systems, processes, and tools to better deliver for our customers.
• Delivering sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, optimising and removing bottlenecks.
• Understanding new networking systems and developing safe implementation methods.
