Job summary

EML Payments seeks a Global Head of Risk Management and Chief Risk Officer (PCF-14) based in Ireland to lead the ERM programme across the group and Money DAC. This role reports to the Money DAC Board and Group CRO, guiding risk governance, data quality, and resilience across multiple jurisdictions.

You will collaborate with Boards, senior leaders, and control functions to ensure risk is managed in a practical, independent, and commercially relevant way, while embedding the three lines of defence

Qualifications

• Senior risk-management experience in regulated financial services.
• Proven track record embedding ERM across multiple jurisdictions.
• Direct interaction with regulators such as the Central Bank of Ireland is desirable.
• Deep knowledge of Irish and EU regulatory requirements (PSD2, DORA, EBA guidelines, CBI regimes).

Responsibilities

• Own Money DAC risk function and report to the Board and Board Risk Committee.
• Embed ERM framework within Money DAC, aligned with Group ERM framework.
• Oversee risk reporting to executive leadership and governance bodies.
• Lead technology risk and operational resilience oversight across the entity.
• Advise senior management on risk matters and strategic projects.
• Design and maintain risk and control self-assessments and risk reporting processes.
