Job summary

Daon, based in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to support global sales, ensure accurate revenue recognition, and provide insightful reporting from its on-site Dublin office. Qualifications

• An excellent understanding of commercial sales contracts and how they relate to revenue recognition.
• Software pricing methodologies and how they impact on revenue and financial performance.
• Broad accounting skills across a busy finance function.
• Familiarity with IFRS/FRS102 and global operations.
• Experience with ERP systems and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historic financial performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor and compare actuals to forecasts and budgets; communicate deviations.
• Lead pricing support and price-list management; assist with deal pricing and tender input.
• Review revenue recognition compliance across contracts and reports.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive monthly reporting processes.
• Collaborate on ESG data collection and regulatory disclosures.
