Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a global pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing organisation in Cork, Ireland. The role focuses on leading technical projects, technology transfers, process validation, manufacturing readiness, and product commercialisation across international sites.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific/engineering field.
• Experience in biologics or biotech manufacturing and MSAT or tech ops environments.
• Proven track record leading complex technical projects within GMP-regulated manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of biologics manufacturing processes, product commercialisation, and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Experience driving cross-functional initiatives across Manufacturing, Quality, MSAT, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, and Technical Operations.
• Experience managing change controls, deviations, CAPAs, and quality system processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across global organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects supporting product launches, technology transfers, validation programmes, and commercial manufacturing readiness.
• Drive project execution across cross-functional stakeholders with deliverables, timelines, and risk mitigation plans.
• Manage change controls from initiation through implementation and closure.
• Support commercialisation activities by ensuring technical deliverables are executed on schedule.
• Facilitate collaboration between R&D, Manufacturing, MSAT, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams.
• Track milestones, critical path activities, risks, and escalations with regular leadership updates.
• Support site readiness plans, operational transitions, and technical implementation strategies.
• Act as a liaison between global manufacturing locations to ensure successful project execution.
