Job summary

The Panel is recruiting for a Global Accounts Payable Senior Analyst on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This hands-on role supports a global AP function from a Ireland-based, fully remote setting, reporting to the Associate Director, Global Accounts Payable.

You will collaborate with an in-house team and an offshore BPO provider, manage SLAs/KPIs, analyse AP data, and drive process improvements across Source to Pay in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Accounts Payable, Procure to Pay or shared services/outsourced delivery environment
• Experience with outsourced providers or global service delivery teams
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) and reporting to stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Support daily global AP operations and act as the link between business and the outsourced AP provider
• Monitor AP workflows and resolve invoice exceptions, blocked invoices, duplicate payments, aging items and supplier queries
• Support the management of SLAs and KPIs
• Analyse AP data, spot trends and recommend process improvements
• Partner with Procurement Operations, Treasury and IT to improve Source to Pay
• Maintain AP policies, procedures, process documentation and internal control narratives
• Support AP transformation and standardisation projects, including training materials and user guides
• Help resolve AP and Travel & Expense issues and reduce exception backlogs

Global Accounts Payable Senior Analyst | 18 month contract

Our client, a global biopharmaceutical company with a significant Dublin presence, is seeking a Global Accounts Payable Senior Analyst to join them on an 18 month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Associate Director, Global Accounts Payable, you will support a global AP function during a period of transformation, working closely with the in-house team and an offshore outsourced (BPO) provider. This is a hands-on role, fully remote within Ireland.

Key points:

• 18 month fixed-term contract, fully remote (Ireland-based)
• 5 years+ in Accounts Payable, Procure to Pay or shared services/ outsourced delivery environment
• Salary of €70k plus strong benefits

The Role

• Support daily global AP operations and act as the key link between the business and the outsourced AP provider
• Monitor AP workflows and resolve invoice exceptions, blocked invoices, duplicate payments, aged items and supplier queries
• Support the management of service levels (SLAs) and KPIs
• Analyse AP data, spot trends and recommend process improvements
• Partner with Procurement Operations, Treasury and IT to improve the Source to Pay process
• Maintain AP policies, procedures, process documentation and internal control narratives
• Support AP transformation and standardisation projects, including training materials and user guides
• Help resolve AP and Travel & Expense issues and reduce exception backlogs

The Person

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field
• 5 to 8+ years of Accounts Payable, Procure to Pay or shared services experience, ideally supporting global AP in a multinational
• Experience working with outsourced providers or global service delivery teams
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) and confident reporting to stakeholders
• SAP S/4HANA and Coupa experience an advantage but not essential
• Pharma, life sciences or regulated industry experience, AP automation, e-invoicing or system implementation exposure all desirable
