Job summary

Irish HomeCare is seeking qualified and experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Leitrim, providing home care services to clients in the local community.

Responsibilities include personal care, assisting with activities of daily living, mobility support and light housekeeping. You must have a full Irish driving licence and English language proficiency. It is a full-time role based in Leitrim with 39 hours per week and shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of care or healthcare experience.
• Strong verbal and written English required.
• Geriatric health and mobility awareness understood.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal, non-medical care to clients in their homes.
• Assist with clients' physical, nutritional and social needs per Care Plan.
• Perform duties such as washing, dressing, mobility support, feeding, meal prep and light housekeeping.
