We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented General Operative to join our dynamic team in Waterford, Ireland. In this role, you'll be an essential part of our operations, supporting the smooth functioning of our facilities and contributing to a safe, efficient work environment. Working collaboratively with a dedicated team of professionals, you'll report to the Operations Manager on-site and have the opportunity to develop your skill set while making a tangible impact on our daily operations through planned maintenance, corrective actions, and general support tasks.

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks to support facility operations and prolong the useful life of equipment and infrastructure
• Assist with both planned and corrective maintenance activities under the guidance of senior team members
• Maintain accurate on-site records and documentation related to maintenance activities and work completed
• Communicate clearly and transparently with management and team members regarding task progress and any issues encountered
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient completion of operational tasks and support team goals
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols and maintain a commitment to workplace safety standards
• Respond promptly to operational needs and demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing priorities
• Maintain professional standards and contribute to a positive occupier and visitor experience
• Utilize IT systems and email proficiently to support administrative and operational requirements
• Demonstrate problem-solving abilities and take decisive action when addressing operational challenges
• Support the team in achieving operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a commercial or operational environment
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with management and colleagues
