Job summary

Analog Devices, a global semiconductor leader, seeks a Gas & Chemicals engineer to support its Limerick facility. The role provides engineering expertise to operations and maintenance, with design oversight for Gas & Chemical storage, delivery and treatment systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical engineering.
2–3 years of field or design experience.
Proficiency with ACAD, Pipe Flow, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance for operating, maintaining and repairing all facilities Gas & Chemical systems.
Evaluate site Gas & Chemical systems and develop a roadmap with redundancy and failure analysis for 24/7 operations.
Review existing Gas & Chemical systems and recommend improvements to conserve resources.
Collaborate with global ADI facilities teams to share best practices for sustainability.
Prepare plans, schedules and cost estimates.
Prepare purchase requisitions, ROI calculations and executive summaries.
Submit proposals and coordinate contractors.
Prepare snag lists and ensure timely completion of work.
Prepare Planning permit applications and compliance reports.
Maintain Gas & Chemical drawings and documents to reflect as-built conditions.
Own changes/incidents from start to finish and drive root-cause analyses.
