Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Limerick, Ireland, is seeking a Gas & Chemicals Engineer to support its Facilities team. You will provide engineering expertise for operations, maintenance, and project oversight of Gas & Chemical storage, delivery, and treatment systems at our semiconductor site.

The role requires a chemical or mechanical engineering degree and 2–3 years of field or design experience, plus strong skills in ACAD, Pipe Flow, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical / Mechanical engineering.
• 2-3 years of field or design experience.
• Proficiency in ACAD, Pipe Flow, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong communication, multi-tasking and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Willingness to travel up to 5–10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance for operating, maintaining and repairing all facilities Gas & Chemical systems
• Evaluate site Gas & Chemical systems and develop a roadmap by incorporating failure analysis, redundancy, and elimination of single points of failure to support 24/7 mission critical operations
• Review existing Gas & Chemical systems and recommend improvement to conserve natural resources.
• Collaborate with ADI facilities team members across the world to share best practices to enhance sustainability
• Prepare plans, schedules and cost estimates
• Prepare purchase requisitions, ROI calculations, and executive summaries
• Submit proposals
• Coordinate contractors
• Prepare snag lists and ensure contractors complete all work on schedule
• Prepare Planning permit applications and reports as required for compliance with all applicable laws
• Maintain Gas & Chemical systems drawings and documents to match as-built conditions
• Ownership of all changes/events/incidents/problems from beginning to end as well as overseeing the completion of root cause analysis and follow up resolution actions.
• Ensure standardization and consistency with best in class operating procedures.
• Respond to Site Emergencies.
