Job summary

Global Professional Consultants Ireland is seeking a Site Agent to lead trenching and ducting projects for electrical infrastructure in Galway. This full-time role involves project management, quality compliance checks, and coordinating multiple crews while ensuring safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in civil engineering, relevant certifications, and strong communication skills. A competitive salary range of €70k – €80k is offered, along with a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Agent in civil engineering or construction projects.
• ROAR certification preferred.
• CSR/Safe pass certification required.
• Manual Handling certification required.
• Full driver's license needed.

Responsibilities

• Review and produce two week look ahead programme.
• Order materials and organise additional labour.
• Prepare regular progress reports.
• Carry out daily quality & compliance checks.
• Communicate risks and controls effectively.
