Job summary

Qualifications

• University degree in Translation/Applied Languages or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Native-level Gaelic (Ireland) and English, fluent in written and spoken forms.
• Experience with standard software such as Windows and Office; familiarity with CAT tools.
• Ability to present information clearly and respond to questions from managers and clients.
• Fast learner, motivated, versatile; able to work with a remote team if home-based.

Responsibilities

• Translate content between languages preserving original meaning and readability.
• Maintain glossary and coordinate with other translators.
• Prepare evaluation reports and participate in training when needed.
• Ensure adherence to customer requirements, style, terminology, and accuracy.
• Support translation processes to improve capability and productivity.
