Job summary

Fineco Asset Management DAC is seeking an Investment Due Diligence professional to join the Fund Solutions team in Dublin. You will lead due diligence on external funds and managers, perform quantitative analyses, and prepare well-structured notes for the Investment Committee.

The role requires ~3 years in fund research, strong quantitative skills and knowledge of UCITS and Irish funds. A hybrid work model and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3 years’ experience in fund research, manager selection, due diligence or related investment analysis role.
• Awareness of operational due diligence considerations.
• Strong quantitative skills and comfort with performance and risk attribution.
• Understanding of active vs passive fund landscape and UCITS/Irish fund environment.
• Experience researching fixed income funds and managers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead due diligence on prospective and existing third-party funds and managers, covering philosophy, process, team, risk management, performance and fees.
• Run quantitative screening and peer group analysis to identify candidate funds and managers.
• Issue and assess investment due diligence questionnaires and complete operational due diligence.
• Conduct manager meetings and produce concise research notes and recommendations for the Investment Committee.
• Monitor funds and delegated managers for performance, risk, positioning and team changes.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers on day-to-day fund selection, construction and trades.
• Support regular reporting and preparation of papers for Investment Committees, Board meetings and fund launches.
• Help develop due diligence processes and tools and build external relationships.
