Job summary

The Panel in Dublin seeks a Director of Financial Reporting to lead a fund reporting function and manage a team of managers, owning senior auditor and client relationships. You will present to fund Boards and ensure high-quality disclosures across IFRS, US GAAP, and Lux GAAP.

This senior role emphasizes governance, process improvement, and team development within a global organisation known for innovation and investment in its people.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership experience in funds or Big 4 with funds exposure.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and Lux GAAP.
• Solid understanding of investment fund structures (mutual funds, hedge funds).
• Accounting degree and professional qualification preferred.
• Board-level engagement and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set priorities and oversee multiple teams preparing and reviewing financial statements for clients and funds.
• Lead the reporting function through subordinate managers and drive talent development.
• Ensure disclosures are complete and accurate and stay compliant with evolving standards.
• Manage relationships with senior auditors and clients to meet expectations.
• Present fund reports to Boards of Directors and support governance with clear communication.
• Recruit, motivate and develop team members to achieve peak performance.
