Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland, based in Dublin, seeks an experienced investment fund reporting specialist to lead the delivery of financial reporting engagements for funds and related regulatory disclosures. You will supervise a team, review statements, and ensure accuracy across US GAAP, IFRS and Lux GAAP frameworks.

You will collaborate with clients, auditors and internal teams, embedding AI-enabled workflows with robust controls while mentoring colleagues and developing solutions for complex fund

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified or equivalent IFAC qualification.
• 4-5 years of relevant experience in investment fund financial reporting.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Working knowledge of AI risks, output verification and responsible-use requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day delivery of financial reporting engagements for investment funds.
• Review financial statements, disclosures, and schedules for completeness and consistency.
• Manage project plans, deadlines, and client communications with administrators and auditors.
• Coach team members on fund reporting requirements and review standards.
• Embed AI-assisted workflows into recurring processes with proper human controls.
• Review AI-generated work and document exceptions for sign‑off before release.
• Build strong relationships with client representatives and stakeholders.
• May contribute to fund accounting engagements and regulatory reporting activities.
