Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the daily operations of the Global Fund Accounting Operations team in Dublin. You will act as the escalation point for technical issues while ensuring policy adherence and efficient workflows.

Core responsibilities include process improvements, stakeholder collaboration, and supporting portfolio managers to achieve operational objectives in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Three years related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
• CFA or other financial designation preferred.

• Working with key stakeholders, acts as subject matter and technical expert, identifies and resolves complex operational issues. Leads internal control framework improvements and formulates strategic recommendations. Supports portfolio managers to ensure operational objectives are met.
• Serves as an escalation contact, creates, builds, and maintains relationships with portfolio traders and managers.
• Proactively anticipates portfolio events and leads process enhancement initiatives.
• Maintains communication with internal and external partners to resolve process and reconciliation issues. Oversees the research and implement complex process improvements.
• Oversees internal event tracking, performs incident analysis. Evaluates and enhances workflows.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
