Job summary

Camden Recruitment Partners is seeking a Fund Accountant in Dublin to join its finance and operations team. The role covers fund accounting, NAV oversight, treasury and financial reporting, offering exposure to alternative strategies and collaboration with senior finance professionals.

The successful candidate will oversee daily valuations, reconciliations and month-end processes, with opportunities to broaden responsibilities and develop technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline.
• At least 2 years' experience in fund accounting, fund administration or investment operations.
• Strong understanding of fund accounting, reconciliations and financial controls with attention to detail.
• Confident communicator and team player, with strong IT skills and interest in using technology/AI tools to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fund valuations and NAV calculations, investigating discrepancies through reconciliations between administrators, custodians and internal systems.
• Manage cash and position reconciliations, monitor trade-related exceptions and liaise with external investment partners and service providers to resolve issues.
• Support treasury activities, including cash movements, bank reconciliations, commission monitoring and associated financial control processes.
• Contribute to month-end reporting, P&L and balance sheet reviews, financial statement preparation and investor reporting, while identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls.
