Qualifications

• Strong NAV production knowledge and financial reporting controls.
• Experience with closed-ended fund structures; private markets advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Review and oversee NAV calculations.
• Review expense schedules, income calculations, capital activity and fund fee calculations.
• Ensure NAV production controls are followed throughout the NAV cycle.
• Support and lead the preparation of new fund launches.
• Act as a point of contact for clients on fund accounting matters and NAV queries.

An established global financial services organisation is seeking a Fund Accounting Supervisor to join its growing team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fund accounting professional to take on a supervisory role, overseeing key accounting processes across alternative investment funds while developing strong client relationships.

The successful candidate will play an important role in reviewing Net Asset Values (NAVs), overseeing financial reporting and regulatory requirements, and supporting the development of junior team members. The position offers exposure to complex fund structures, closed-ended funds and private markets, within a collaborative and client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and oversee the accurate and timely calculation of fund Net Asset Values (NAVs).
• Review expense schedules, income calculations, capital activity and fund fee calculations.
• Ensure established controls and procedures are consistently followed throughout the NAV production cycle.
• Support and lead the preparation and operational readiness of new fund launches.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients on fund accounting matters and NAV-related queries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams and third-party service providers.
• Investigate and resolve accounting queries, ensuring issues are addressed efficiently and accurately.
• Develop product knowledge across complex fund structures and financial instruments.
• Supervise, train, coach and mentor junior team members on systems, reporting processes and procedures.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives, process improvements and wider projects.
• Provide feedback and support ongoing employee performance and development.

Requirements

• At least 4 years' experience within fund operations or fund accounting, with exposure to alternative investment funds.
• Experience working with closed-ended fund structures; private markets or private equity experience would be an advantage.
• Experience analysing trial balances and reviewing general ledger entries.
• Knowledge of management and performance fee calculations.
• Experience reviewing Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs), offering memoranda and fee agreements.
• Strong understanding of NAV production, fund accounting controls and financial reporting processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective client relationships.
