THE ROLE

• Build, lead and mentor a team working closely with the Fund Accounting team in New York
• Oversee month-end close, financial statements, journal entries and reconciliations across multiple legal entities
• Cover accounting for entities and trading subsidiaries across multiple asset classes
• Partner with auditors to deliver timely and accurate financial and investor reporting
• Drive best practice across process, technology and reporting as the function evolves

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Fund Controller, Financial Controller or Big 4 Audit Director with direct fund experience
• Fund Accounting Manager background from an admin firm also considered
• Strong understanding of financial reporting at fund and/or entity level
• Proven leader - or strong leadership potential - with the ability to build and develop a team
• Exceptional communicator, hands-on and solutions-focused with comfort at senior stakeholder level
